Benjamin Josif - Singer/Songwriter Benjamin grew up in the southwest of england, amidst the quiet devon and somerset countryside. Always enjoying his creative side, from a young age he expressed much interest in art and music. Being involved with various musical ventures through his childhood and youth gave him a firm grounding to music. Originally wanting to be a drummer, he spent many hours filling the neighbourhood with noise, until enough was enough. At which point, during one summer, he picked up the guitar instead. From that time on, he struggled to put it down.

Discovering for himself for the first time, Bob Dylan, Jackson Browne, Joni Mitchell, and then after semi-stealing his parents Vinyl, other artists like James Taylor and Simon and Garfunkel came into the picture. This led him to explore the many other modern artists that have continued this theme of that music in our time. There was something about the way they sang, the sometimes simple straightforward sound that accompanied their honest voices.

Benjamin's debut appearance, a home made affair was released last year on itunes, "The Air That We Breathe" showcased the beginnings of his writing and recording career, with songs from the soul.
